The Armor All Gold Coast 600 kicks off in less than two days and the rain has arrived in preparation! However with better weather scheduled for the weekend there will be no stopping the race drivers and spectators from having a great event.
The modified circuit will see the Gold Coast 600 track length reduced from 4.7km to 2.96km. The revised layout will allow for a better spectacle, providing spectators greater on-track action and more entertainment opportunities. Not only will the viewing be enhanced, the modified track layout and design will shorten construction time and reduce disruption to the local traffic and residents. The condensed track is set to free up approximately 40 per cent of the local area, whilst reducing the length of set-up and take down of the track by approximately five weeks in total.
