| Damage Assessment Fee | Variable – passed on at cost | Fixed charge to recover our costs for dealing with damage caused to the vehicle. Price depends on whether it’s a single vehicle accident or if there is third party loss. |

| Premium Roadside Assistance | $5.50 per day | Gets you back on the road for all incidents where the renter may be considered “at fault” — e.g. changing a flat tyre, lockout service, or fuel delivery (up to 15 litres). |

| Excess km’s in a Restricted Area | $0.44 per km | Applies if you have taken the vehicle into a Restricted Territory — any area specified in clause 7.10(d), 7.10(j), or any island except those stated in clause 7.10(e). |
| Refuelling Fee | $5.50 per litre | The vehicle is supplied with a full tank of fuel where possible. If you return the vehicle without a full tank, or with less fuel than when it was rented, you will be charged a refuelling fee. |

| One Way Fee | Variable – quoted at booking | For vehicles returning to a location differing from the location you collected the vehicle from, a one way fee may apply. |
| Early Return Fee | $50 or one day’s rent, whichever is lesser | For non “pre-paid” rentals where you return the rental earlier than originally booked. You will only pay for the days used. This charge compensates us for our inability to rent the vehicle during the remaining reserved time. |
| Pre Paid Early Return Fee | Variable | No refund will be provided for ‘early returns’ or ‘unused days’ when returning the vehicle earlier than the booked dates and times. Any unused portion of Optional Extras purchased at collection will be refunded. |
| Pre Paid Cancellation | Variable | When cancelling less than 7 days prior to the collection date, the cancellation fee equals the sum of three (3) rental days as per the booking’s rental fee. If notice is less than three (3) days, the full rental purchase price is retained. |
| Pre Paid No Show Fee | Variable | No refund will be provided on any portion of the purchase price if the customer fails to pick up the vehicle at the day and time of collection. |

| Toll Fees | Variable – charged at cost | All toll charges are the responsibility of the renter named on the contract. East Coast Car Rentals will charge the nominated card on file for the cost of the toll. |
| Toll Admin Processing Fee | $1.10 per toll | The amount payable for administrative functions relating to the use of toll roads, such as applying the charge to the renter and processing the toll road payment. |
