Tiger Woods holding a trophy

Melbourne has scored another major sporting coup with Tiger Woods confirming he will return to defend his Australian Masters title at Victoria Golf Club in November, for his only Australian appearance in 2010.

Over 100,00 people are expected to flock to the tournament and is tipped to be as successful as the 2009 Masters which injected $34 million into the Victorian economy – almost double the pre-tournament prediction of $19 million, with nearly 40% of visitors coming from interstate or overseas.

If you are planning on coming to see Tiger play, don’t forget East Coast Car Rentals can offer you a great Melbourne car hire deal.

The 2010 JB Were Masters will take place from 11-14 November at Melbourne’s Victoria Golf Club.
