Do you have an insatiable sweet tooth? Sydney has everything you need. Here are a number of fantastic eateries that are known for their delicious desserts and delectable treats.

Hatsyard

Husband and wife, Gregory Llewellyn and Naomi Hart are dedicated to bringing you the best seasonal dishes, with everything, including the bread, syrups and sodas, made from scratch.

The Out to Pasture menu is where you'll find the sweet stuff. The caramel brulee is made with blood orange, ginger fluff, sangria and is served with brown butter ice cream. Love salty and sweet? Try the peanut butter and banana sundae. With pretzel ice cream, a banana doughnut and salted fudge, you'll be swept into a world of taste delights.

N2

The team at N2 is made up of reputable gelato connoisseurs and are unafraid to push the boundaries when it comes to this dessert. The flavours are constantly changing, with unique and mouthwatering flavours always on the menu. You could try red velvet cupcake, Nutella with crushed hazelnuts, Oreo cheesecake or rainbow cookie dough.

The team here are of the belief that every now and then you should indulge, and why not do that with a treat that does not hold back? Ours are made from full cream from neighbouring dairy farms, real fruit, fresh herbs and locally sourced ingredients.

Tokyo

This luxurious dining experience will look after you from start to finish. Using only the best local produce and inspired by Japanese cuisine and the informal izakaya style of dining, this is where you should go if you want a stunning modern meal.

There is a kitchen, sushi bar and robata grill menu for all of your savoury desires, and then a few, carefully chosen dessert items. The yuzu cheesecake with frozen meringue is light, full of flavour and will hit the spot whereas the chilled rhubarb/macadamia crumble and warm banana rice pudding are more traditional options.

Rockpool

Rockpool is a fine dining experience where food is a craft, and the team are artists and masters. The service is wonderful and the dining room minimalist, elegant and softly lit.

One of the amazing facts about this restaurant is the lengths they go to to find amazing suppliers who will find only the best produce and ingredients. For instance, the exotic produce is sourced from Fiat at Sunrise and the coffee is by Vittoria and from the Cantarella Brothers.

You'll have a choice of menu with a number of courses that have been carefully selected. Not only will you have a sweet treat to finish off your meal, but you will have a pre-dessert. After your moscato custard with rhubarb, apple and streusel you can have a Valrhona chocolate and macadamia with coffee soaked prunes, malt and citrus ice cream or choose from a number of other divine options.
