Are you looking for something exciting to do this weekend? Then hop in the car hire Brisbane CBD travellers choose for reliability and head to the Kilcoy Wood, Wine and Art Festival.
This year’s two-day event, which runs from October 19 to 20, promises to be even better than the last!
Kilcoy is about one and a half hours from the CBD, so if you’re organising Brisbane Airport car rentals with East Coast Car Rentals, there couldn’t be an easier option!
We’ve been told that parking at the Kilcoy Wood, Wine and Art Festival is absolutely free, as is the entry for children who are school-age. The price for adults is a mere $10 per person.
So, what will that $10 get you?
A weekend of winding your way through food and market stalls, attending creative workshops, taking rides in helicopters and listening to various musicians – that’s what!
You can learn how to play the ukulele, make a cigar box guitar and cook with Roushini, all while being entertained by Bruce McDade and the unique sound of the Uke Dukes Trio.
If you’re there on Saturday night, you can enjoy a concert around the campfire and a delicious camp oven meal under the stars.
There is also a Poet’s Breakfast at 7am on Sunday, if you’re not too tired from the previous evening’s festivities!
And, of course, there will be plenty of food and wine for you to sample – and, throw, by the sound of things…
The South-East Queensland Wine Tossing Championships will be held at the Kilcoy Wood, Wine and Art Festival. We’re not really sure what this entails, but anyone is allowed to compete and there is a magnificent trophy up for grabs.
So, bring your family, friends and rental car for a weekend of unforgettable fun in Kilcoy! We know you’ll have an amazing time.
