We do not authorise any affiliate, business partner, reseller or other third party to send unsolicited commercial electronic messages advertising eastcoastcarrentals.com.au, eccr.com.au, or any other East Coast Car Rentals domain on our behalf.

Every marketing email we send includes a functional unsubscribe mechanism. We action unsubscribe and opt-out requests promptly, and once you opt out we will not send further marketing communications to that address (we may still send non-marketing, transactional messages relating to an active or completed booking, such as confirmations, invoices, or safety/recall notices, where permitted by law).

The Car Rental Company will make all reasonable endeavours to provide the make and model, or similar vehicle, as indicated on the booking but, in certain circumstances beyond its control, the Car Rental Company may have to, without notice, substitute category, size, make or model until a suitable substitute vehicle is available. The Car Rental Company will not be liable for any Losses which a Hirer may incur as a result of any such substitution.

In the event that the substitute vehicle is not suitable or may not be available, all reasonable endeavours to offer the Hirer an alternate mode of transport to the Hirers local accommodation, until such time a suitable vehicle or replacement vehicle will be offered. The Rental will be deemed to have commenced only once the Rental Agreement is signed, agreed and all Rental costs and fees are pre-paid for the rental period. Pre-authorised holding deposits/bonds on arrival may also apply, subject to the conditions of the Rental. The Car Rental Company will not be held liable for any Losses which the may incur when suitable alternate arrangements can not be agreed.

The Hirer acknowledges that the Car Rental Company may need to cancel or delay a Rental Reservation due to industrial action, technical or mechanical problems or any event beyond the Car Rental Company’s reasonable control. In no circumstances will the Car Rental Company be liable for any Losses which a Hirer may incur as a result of any such delayed or rescheduled rental or service.

We reserve the right to amend, modify, add, delete and make corrections to the Terms and Conditions and at any time without notice.
