This car rental office of ours is located at the intersection of Ferny Avenue and Cypress Avenue. Directly accross of our branch is the Adrenalin Park. All the top hotels and service apartments are quite close to our branch. It will take you only a few minutes to walk to the beach, restaurants, cafe, pubs and shops. If you are going to the theme parks such as the Sea World, Movie World and Dreamworld, this branch of ours is the nearest to them. We have large 8-seater minivans and 12-seater minibuses for you to choose from. If you are travelling in a smaller group of people, we have the compact, intermediate and family size cars for you to hire at Surfers Paradise.

Brief History

In 1920, Jim Cavill, a well known Brisbane hotelier bought a large parcel of land (about 25 acres). The land area he bought was called Elston. Around 1925, Jim Cavill started a 16 bedroom hotel at a rather secluded spot near a beach. Gradually, with more visitors coming to this hotel and the surrounding area, Elston township grew bigger with people opening more shops and restaurants to cater for the holiday-makers. With the help of Jim Cavill and the locals, Elston, the name was lobbied heavily and finally changed to Surfers Paradise.
