Driving Restrictions:
Please check state-specific driving restrictions before your trip. Some states in Australia have unique road rules, licensing requirements, and vehicle regulations. Make sure you’re aware of the conditions that apply where you’ll be driving.

Important to Know
- Unlimited KMs included with all Tassie rentals – drive as far as you like.
- One-way trips between Hobart and Launceston are allowed (extra fees apply, shown when you book).
- Insurance cover: Your rental is comprehensively insured. If there’s damage, theft, or third-party loss, you’ll need to pay the standard Damage Liability Fee (DLF) listed on your rental agreement.
- Optional cover: Extra protection products are available to reduce your liability. Note that cover won’t apply if rental terms or conditions are breached.
- Extra charges may apply if:
- The vehicle isn’t returned to the agreed drop-off location
- You don’t return the vehicle with a full tank
- The car is used for speeding, parking violations, or other breaches
- No refunds are given if you don’t collect the vehicle on your booked day/time.
