Q: Should I book my car early?

Plan ahead and make your booking as early as possible to secure a rental car. During peak seasons or special events, availability can be limited. There is no cost to reserve early, and you can cancel at least 7 days before pick-up without any charge.

Q: How can I reduce my liability?

To reduce your liability, we recommend taking out our Loss Damage Waiver (LDW). As long as you do not break any traffic rules or breach the rental agreement, LDW significantly limits the amount of damages you have to pay.

Q: How do I specify additional drivers?

If more than one person will drive the car, specify additional drivers during booking or at pick-up. If the driver is not listed in the contract, any LDW purchased will be void in case of an accident.

Q: Should I book further in advance during peak periods?

Yes. Organize well and allow buffer time for collecting and returning your car, especially during peak seasons. It may take longer to be served at our office, so select a suitable pick-up or drop-off time for flexibility. Enjoy our free WiFi while waiting.

Q: How to observe and obey traffic rules?

Traffic infringements can be costly. Apart from paying the fine issued by Australian authorities, you may also be required to pay an administrative fee for processing. Avoid speeding and breaking any traffic regulations.

Q: What happens if I don’t pay parking tickets & fines?

Always pay for parking and avoid illegal parking. If you receive a fine, pay it on time to prevent further penalties. If we process your fines, an administrative fee will apply.

Q: How do I add a child or booster seat to my booking?

Depending on the age of your child, Australian regulations require either a child seat or a booster seat. A baby seat is suitable for newborns up to 18kg, while a booster seat suits toddlers between 14kg and 26kg. Both are available for hire.

Q: How old do I have to be to book? Is there a surcharge?

You must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s licence to hire a car. An underage driver surcharge applies to drivers aged between 21 and 24 years old.
