Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and we can’t think of a better way to show your mum how much you care than with a trip to sunny Adelaide.

We recommended organising a car hire in Adelaide and taking your mum on a well-deserved day of fine dining and sight-seeing. We’ve even come up with an itinerary that you can follow or add your own activities to!

Mother’s Day breakfast

Start the day off right with a delicious breakfast at The Brasserie. To help you and your mum celebrate Mother’s Day this year, they are offering a spectacular buffet breakfast for just $49 per adult. They will be serving from 6:30 until 10:00 – so there will be plenty of time for you both to bond – and, of course, eat.

Saint Peter’s Cathedral tour

If your mum is a fan of ornate architecture, we suggest you follow up this brunch with a visit to Saint Peter’s. Take advantage of the Saint Peter’s Cathedral tours that are happening throughout the month of May in North Adelaide. This gorgeous cathedral was built in the mid-nineteenth century, and bears a striking resemblance to Paris’s Cathedral of Notre Dame. Tours leave at 12:30 on Sundays and include a visit to the cathedral’s bell tower and the Adelaide ringing centre.

Afternoon Delights Mother’s Day Show

You can finish up your day at the Singing Gallery with the Afternoon Delights Mother’s Day Show. This concert runs from 15:00 to 18:00, which means you can swing by after your visit to Saint Peter’s and get a good seat. Tickets cost just $20, and we know your mum will just love listening to the sounds of Laura Hill and her backing band, The Tuesday Bandits.

Whatever you do for your mum on Sunday, May 12, make sure it’s a day she’ll never forget!
