Journalists from newspapers and media channels around the world are exploring the Gold Coast and Queensland this week in an initiative aimed at helping the tourism industry recover from the summer floods and cyclone. It’s part of a “global mega-familiarisation tour of Queensland” by 200 Australian and international media.
Tourism Australia and Tourism Queensland have hosted the visit to show the media (and the world) that Queensland is open for business.
