We found the hire process with East Coast Car Rentals very easy and efficient. The staff we dealt with on collection and on return, including the shuttle driver, were all friendly and helpful. The car was well maintained and apart from a minor issue with the clutch, there were no problems. It was clean and drove comfortably.

Excellent communication with Cairns staff especially Ben (I'm pretty sure that's his name) he worked Christmas Day and picked me up from the airport!! Everything was ready!! It was a very good experience with East Coast Car Rentals on the Gold Coast. The only thing that I found hard was collecting the vehicle from the airport after hours due to there being several bay 7 & 8's. In spite of this I got the best service on the phone and the shuttle bus collected me promptly.

Thank u guys so much for making everything so so easy, uncomplicated and non-stressing. Hardest part was finding the car at the airport but that was due to me not following bens directions properly. Staff were excellent, I would definitely recommend your services and will use your company again when I travel in the future. : ) I had two children in boosters and one large sized adult in the camry. As a suggestion for future customers I would recommend a large sized vehicle or no boosters as it was extremely squashy, or then again a skinny passenger. But overall the car was great. Other than lowering the counter at the Hendra office I have no further suggestions unless all your offices have the same sized Customer service counters. The staff were great and it made our holiday less stressful. Thank you.

I found the website reservations information clear, concise and easy to maneuver my way around. I found the whole vehicle collection process pleasant and very efficient. The staff were pleasant yet efficient, and happy. It was great to see a sense of humour and fun among the staff. The car was all good. I would definitely use East Coast Rentals again or at least give them the opportunity to give us the best deal possible. I dropped my purse on the shuttle bus and only realised when we were inside the airport. The lady who answered my call regarding my purse was extremely helpful. Overall this was a very good experience. My first time using East Coast Rentals after previously using major hire car companies I found East Coast far better, cheaper and more friendly than the others. Staff on phone in Brisbane were v good as I had mistakenly booked a car out of Brisbane not Gold Coast. This came after missing a flight. It was no trouble for them to help me out. Staff I then met at Gold Coast were exceptionally good and by far the best staff I encountered on my holiday.

Prompt e-mail reply. Quick and easy, friendly staff with advice on tolls and directions. When booking a people mover should have option for Tarago or the Hyundai IMAX, also would be helpful to have height of vehicle on the dash due to many low clearance car parks, this would help to prevent vehicle roof damage.

Not a lot to improve upon really, apart from a couple of minor quirks with the vehicle ie middle seat didn't fold down and central locking was a bit temperamental on a couple of occasions, but apart from that the vehicle didn't miss a beat and was very reliable and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and efficient and fully explained the terms and conditions and any questions I had. Couldn't ask for more, well done!

The website is simple and easy to use, with a step by step process which was very friendly, giving various options. In addition, it was not loaded with a loads of fancy cookies and other stuff that slowed down the web page which was the best thing about it. The wait for the pick up was a few minutes but we were quite appropriately guided by the staff on the phone to wait at the correct place. Kylie ( i think!!!) at the collection branch was very helpful and gave us a free upgrade. She was very friendly and efficient at work as well. The quality and condition of the rental car was excellent and we couldn't have asked for more. It was a pleasure and a very high point of our holiday. The return was easy and quick. The branch staff had informed us earlier that the branch only opens at 7am so it would be better for us to check in for our flight departing at 9am and then come over and drop off the car. It worked like clock work for us and the shuttle after a brief wait dropped us off as promised. Excellent service.

[Website] All good, easy to navigate. Very easy to get out of airport and find shuttle bus pick up. Driver and AJ very helpful. AJ gave us a map book which ended up being used often. Very positive experience. We have never hired a car before and were wary of how it was all going to work. We can't be more appreciative of the service you provided, very prompt, efficient and professional, even enquiring as to our holiday and how it went when we returned. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. We will not only use your company again but will also recommend you to our friends and family. You obviously pay attention to your feedback sheets as any problems or inconveniences were nowhere to be seen.

Clever marketing - I visited the website just checking prices - had to provide contact details- was a bit reluctant as I expected contact from sales staff which actually happened immediately. Pleasant experience though and helpful - I'm an A**S preferred customer and price was so much better I booked immediately and will no doubt book with East Coast in future. Few minor hiccups with availability of vehicle on day but alternate arrangements made were quite satisfactory - good service by rep named Roy.
