A young fellow fair haired and well built was most helpful in fact exceptional, as it was pouring and without his help with bags we would have been wet through for the big flight. This was at Brisbane office. Also the driver was very helpful and courteous. Thank you all East coast cars.

Staff at the branch were excellent, couldn't find paperwork initially when vehicle returned but this was rectified. The conditions of the branch need attention from a national organisational level, great people deserve a nice place to work. Your staff are doing great work in average environment.

Ryan in GCoast exceeded my expectations in explaining to me all the terms and charges and options with the rental car and said price on-line and over phone is the same which was great to hear. Female staff member (Kiwi from GCoast originally) was so conscientious and worked so hard to get the vehicle ready for us to pick up that day-she was personable and professional. She went beyond normal duties in helping me look up locations/map I asked. Free Airport pick up was extremely good and convenient. She went through every term and condition in detail and in plain English.

Although I found it easy to make my initial booking on line, I called and my made my booking over the phone, for two reasons, first I trust talking to a person more than on line, second I can't remember if it was easy to know more about the reducing the insurance claim options, so i had to call and ask, other wise, it was good expierience.

Booked a GPS but branch was unable to supply one due to a long weekend and a extra large number of rentals. We were supplied with a very comprehensive street directory instead which was ok as we did not do any sight seeing or travelling where a map is a pain for the person who has to read it for the whole trip. Would like to mention how good the service was from the bus transfer driver. He asked which bags were ours and they were loaded onto the bus for us, his conversation on the transfer was interesting and enjoyable which just topped a perfect weekend for us.

I deal with guys at he local Surfers Branch and always find them helpful and courteous. My plane was 45 minutes late so the scheduled pick up for 5pm was unavailable when we arrived.I called the office close to 6pm and was asked to get a taxi which was re-imbursed on arrival at the Cairns Office. We were met by Sharon who quickly went through the paper work and sent us on our way as quickly as possible.

The only concern I had was that I requested a four cylinder small car but was given a six cylinder Magna which cost me more in fuel. As I was the only person in the car it was a waste.

As our flight delayed, we were fortunate that East Coast Car Rentals was able to arrange to send the car direct to Coolangatta Airport without any additional charges besides the additional premium for insurance. That had caused great convenience for me and my family. Staff were very easy to deal with and I would certainly recommend to friends and relatives should they travel there.

website is easy to use, and east coast car rental was willing to accomdate drop off apart from airport.excellent!! Paperwork was a bit slow but that is maybe due to alot of customer..having come from spore where everyone is super fast may be one of the reason why it appear abit slow..but overall it was acceptable. Excellent return service considering I had a ferry to catch @ holt street, the staff was fully understanding and went the extra mile for us to catch the ferry on time.

We had a Hinterland flight to Dunk Isand from the Commercial Airport and were dropped off the domestic terminal instead as the driver did not know - we made a phone call back and he came back and took us to the right airport which we really appreciated and we would like to thank you for your extra effort.

Website is very clear and concise. It allowed me to choose all that I needed for the car i.e. baby seats and excess reduction. Staff that served were very friendly they even assisted us in putting the baby seats in. Only had to wait approx 5 minutes at the airport before being picked up which is excellent especially when you have 2 toddlers. Paperwork is good. Quick but I have had quicker. Branch was clean but because of the age of the building I had to give it an average score.

After hours pick up. Sharon was only to helpful and gave us her personal mobile number if we had any problems at the airport. I rang Sharon on Saturday (pick up day from Brisbane) to confirm all. She was so helpful and upgraded us to a Mitsubishi outlander. Great car, sooo economical. We were wrapped with the car and Sharon's personalised service.

After our flight from NZ we waited for nearly an hour to be picked up from the airport. It would be more convenient and awesome from us our customers point of view, if our rental vehicle was already at the airport & all we had to do was pick up the keys and drive off. We would like to thank the young driver who eventually collected us from the airport - We think his name is Jono & also Mark who served us at the office, both of them were smiling & friendly and we appreciated thier hospitality.
