Web site was easy and straightforward to navigate. No problems with your people, very helpful. The vehicle was excellent - a new Getz with only 23 k's on it when collected. No hassles at all even though the branch was very busy at the time. All aspects were good - I don't see where you could improve. Your overall costs for the 8 days hire was heaps below "the others".

I found the staff very friendly and polite to deal with. The only complaint I would make, well not really a complaint more a suggestion would be to have a sign at the what looked like to be a gate not a road, I as did the man following me drove around past it twice thinking we missed the turn, not realizing it was a street, and that was WITH THE NAVMAN. But over all excellent. I will be booking again. I was very thankful to be collected. I would never have found the place, and in the day I would of known where to return the car, so I thought. Please put the sign at the entry of the so called road, I will be and have already recommended you company to family and friends. It's good to know that you can pick up a hire car with such hassle free conditions, not like I have experienced in the past, where the staff don't even wait for you to return the car.

If we ever have inquires for car hire in Oz we will recommend East Coast to all our Discount Rentals clients in Port Vila, Vanuatu. The staff were wonderful at both locations. How can I steal one of them for our operation? Excellent ... how can I find a car detailer willing to come over and train my staff for a week all expenses paid! I can not think of much else you could do for the prices you are offering the service is well above the rest! I have been in the car rental game for over 30 years with Hertz, Avis, Thrifty, Budget, No Frills and now Discount rentals my own Co.

I think the only way you could improve would be if the car could be collected and returned to the airport. But the shuttle service was excellent so this was not a problem.

Your prices were TRANSPARENT and clear. The Elkhorn branch easy to find - well situated. The two gents there kind and polite (though not everyone pays you cash!). the car was clean and great. No one was uptight or anal - like some rentals on Surfers (i.e. 95$ fee if lots of sand is in the car - MUST check tyre pressure and oil DAILY!!) When I booked last minute - I rang and the young woman on the line posted me an email confirmation in 3 minutes! You allegedly have cars for $27 a day in off peak - tell me more. All around - good experience. Thank you

I organised my rental at the last moment and all responses were done promptly. I found your service to be excellent and easy to use. The wait was due to road/traffic conditions and we were notified of this when I rang for collection. Maybe multiple bus services for busy traffic times during the day. Otherwise continue the way you are. Excellent service, easy access to booking and very friendly and polite people!!!

the telephone staff bent over backwards to help me. It was an extremely busy time with virtually no cars available and the lady chased one up for me. Yours was the only company I rang that really tried hard to find me a car. Adrian at your Hendra office was outstanding. He rang me twice about the car's arrival which was coming from Coolangatta and kept me informed throughout. Great little car. Basic, but served the purpose well and very economical. Adrian was also there on my return - again he was friendly, helpful and efficient. He is a credit to your company. On the website, if you can't accept online bookings within 24 hrs of hire, explain why and give the customer some options. Otherwise, I was very impressed with your whole operation, you have good rates and will certainly use you again.

East coast will be my first choice, even if not the cheapest option. Overall very, very good. For the price the car was acceptable. One can not control the selfish actions of others, ie smokers fouling your vehicles.

Returning the vehicle was a breeze and the staff at the Cairns office were fantastic. The young gentlemen that took my wife and I to the airport was first rate. My wife and I were extremely happy with the high level of service we received at the Cairns City branch. The vehicle was immaculate and a pleasure to drive. Upon returning the vehicle it was less than five minutes wait and we were away in the shuttle bus to the airport. We will see you again next time we are in Cairns.

I made a booking over the net and also called your staff. I wish I could recall the name of the man that helped me because I was very happy with him. He represented your company excellently. Your staff members in Cairns were always pleasant and willing to help. I had two cars. The first one, an almost brand new car, surprisingly developed a problem. It was replaced with another one of the same type and age with minimum interruption to my plans. I appreciated the help of your staff to get me back on the road so quickly. I would like to rate the reliability as excellent but unfortunately cannot - sorry. would gladly use East Coast Car Rentals again and refer them to others.

This is my fourth rental from ECCR and they never disappoint. The staff always seem genuinely interested in making your experience the best it can be. I booked a car from Brisbane airport for two days. The only information I could not find easily was how much time to allow for transfer back to the terminal for domestic flights but this was easily obtained by phoning. I have previously hired cars in Scotland, England, Thailand and other parts of Australia but East Coast is by far the best company I have dealt with. The staff are extremely helpful and courteous. Extremely professional and efficient. Well done. I opted for a GPS on collection and the staff member installed and set my destination for my preferred route. Outstanding service in all respects. I will recommend East Coast to any friends looking to rent a car. I think you are doing a pretty good job already. My only comments would be to make the time allowed for transfer back to domestic terminal a little more prominent and maybe a little more detail on the nearest petrol stations map for Brisbane airport. Great service overall, would not ever look to another company if I were to hire a car from your locations.

the first time I was on your web site I had a problem with my computer and had to start the booking process again. I was very impressed to receive a phone call from one of your staff later in the day to check everything was ok. Everything about rental experience was great, cant think of any improvements you could make. We used the special discount options for whale watching and bird park visit, this saved us heaps of dollars and was an extra bonus for what was already a good service. We will use you folks again, for sure.
