The driver of the transfer shuttle was very efficient, friendly and polite. When we arrived at the collection branch the car was ready to go with baby and booster seats already in it. The pickup was easy, smooth and professional. Returning the vehicle and being transferred back to the airport was very quick and efficient. We did not have to wait at all - again this is great when you have a baby and toddler travelling with you.

Given the time of year a very busy office - might have helped to have extra staff during that time. Staff were very good. Maps offered which was very helpful. We were going to walk to the Queen St Mall Bris, but Mandy offered a ride as it was too hot, much appreciated. We were not sure what to expect as we've only hired through "known" care hire before, but have been thoroughly impressed and will definitely promote to our friends coming over for a visit. Got really fantastic value for our money.

Very efficient all round - would recommend East Coast Car Rentals to colleagues and would definitely use this company again. I had arranged for 6 cars to be rented by family & friends from NZ for our son's wedding and I am sure that all renters will have similar feedback to us. See you next time!! Cannot think of any obvious improvements but PLEASE always remain at the cutting edge price-wise.

We could just made a call to say we're running a bit late upon return of the vehicle and the friendly and patient staff member awaited us at the office, although it had been almost 5.30pm on a Saturday evening. Thank you, whenever we're at the Gold Coast again, we'll rely on this company!

Excellent service at the office and from the friendly drivers. Quick pickups. Perhaps a more comprehensive list on the website of the towns included would be helpful; I had to ring to find out about Lismore. I always choose on price and this one was a special ("book before July 2008"). However I hate rude unfriendly unhelpful unaccommodating service (which is all we found on pretty much the whole of the Gold Coast) so I would come back to East Coast even if the price was slightly higher. Thanks again.

I would like to say though, that your service was excellent and I will use you again (probably next week!) Collection was quick and easy. The guys on the shuttle bus were great - took care of the luggage and had a laugh too. A really good, clean car. Did everything I expected of it. Was low on petrol consumption and easy to drive. Staff very approachable. Friendly and professional. An excellent service.

I always book my cars in Brisbane with ECR....I love the service and the ease of pick up and drop off. You out rate all other car companies I have used. I especially like the comprehensive insurance which covers hail etc. Other car companies do not offer anything like this coverage. The staff are always very very friendly and efficient.

Opposition sites for car rentals were not as easy to navigate and East Coast's was. Simply keep doing what you do as it worked for us and when in need of a rental in the future, we will be glad to look you up.

Shuttle bus driver is very friendly and knowledgeable. Cool zippy car! Very fuel efficient. I think the premiums for car insurance could be a little cheaper. Otherwise thank you for providing an excellent service to us!

The website was easy to use. If I had any queries I was able to call the 1800 number to clarify. It was hot and humid and reservations staff moved quickly to organise our vehicle. The paper work was discussed and simplified and easy to organise. We were very happy with the vehicle. Especially the airconditiong! The young lady who inspected our car was prompt and efficient. She drove us straight to the airport and was extremely pleasant and helpful.

We came to east coast car rentals on the 17th Jan '09 to collect our rental car, and I would like to comment on the staff member who dealt with us. I cant remember his name but he was from England, and his service was absolutely excellent. Very friendly and helpful and also he was very thorough and quite a laugh. The staff at Brisbane were very efficient and friendly. They made sure you knew everything about the contract. I was very happy with their service and professionalism. I was really happy with the car and i liked the way the staff went over the car and noted all minor defects. I left feeling satisfied and confident with the vehicle. I was also really pleased with the level of insurance coverage as it was very comprehensive and at a really competitive price. I was really happy with all aspects of the rental and would not hesitate to use East Coast again or recommend them to others.

I would like to thank the staff at the Brisbane Office for their support. Travelling back from the Gold coast we were in peak time traffic and also had the problem with the weather (torrential rain). This contributed to our lateness getting to the airport for our flights home. The staff helped ease the stress by taking us to the airport straight away. I would also like to thank the gentleman who lent us money for the toll bridge on the way to Gold coast. We only had cash ($50 notes).

The girl that I spoke to was Excellent. Nothing was a problem. She remembered who I was when I called back to confirm. Brilliant service. Augustin was very friendly and helpful. Fantastic customer service. It was a pleasure to have someone walk around the car with us pointing out existing damage and - unlike some of the airport rental firms which leave it up to us to do. Another positive was having things such as which side the fuel cap was one pointed out to us. Thanks. I don't think there was anything about our rental experience that needed to be improved. Excellent job all around.

I had no problems what so ever with the service - Great!!! We had a few problems our end - with missing the first flight and the team were great sorting the next day out. The brazilian driver was very friendly. This was a new building so very clean - but very efficient. The sat nav was offered to us and it was brilliant buying one ourselves now! We were there early and the guy taking us back had to come back from the airport but didn't worry us..... We will be back again. It was the best service - and when you get the best you don't need to improve :-)
