Driving in the Townsville


Townsville is home to many of the regions attractions, including the world's largest living coral reef aquarium, a casino, museums & theatres, a wildlife sanctuary, and many restaurant, bars and cafes.

Located just 12km off the Coast, Magnetic Island which is a National Park that has a variety of holiday resorts and a resident population of approximately 2500. Other popular islands in the region include Dunk Island, Bedarra Island, Orpheus Island and Hinchinbrook Island.

Townsville is Australia's largest tropical City with a population of 150,000. This focal point of Far North Queensland is also home to many of the countries military forces and used both as a training region and a main dispatch point for international deployment.
