The twin cities of Albury and Wodonga lie on the New South Wales / Victoria border (Wodonga on the Victorian side, Albury on the NSW side), separated by the Murray River.
The surrounding floodplain's play a vital role in providing water to the river system and environmental initiatives are underway to protect and preserve this vital life source for the area.
