Palm Cove was one of the first northern beach’s to be developed. Now populated with hundreds of resorts, health spa’s and luxury apartments, it now also has many boutiques, cafes and restaurants along the foreshore, making it a vibrant and bustling location.

In the past, Palm Cove has been named Queensland’s Cleanest Beach as well as Australia’s Cleanest beach. In addition to this it has also previously been voted Far North Queensland’s Friendliest Beach, and also one of Australia’s top 10 beaches.

Palm Cove has an exciting history with the initial purchase price for the land in 1918 a mere two hundred pounds. The two islands of the coast were used for military exercise during the war and since then the area has boomed with land values several million times more than that original prices.
