Nope, that isn't a typo ... we meant to say this 3 times, and actually, on reflection it still doesn't seem enough to convey how much we recommend this cruise aboard Sailaway IV.

Everyone that visits the Great Barrier Reef, Port Douglas and Far North Queensland will tell you how time itself seems to come to a halt when you are there, almost as if to give us mere humans a fair chance at taking in the beauty that surrounds us. The slowest time of the day is at sunset, when the gentle afternoon breezes drop away and the skies are filled with rich oranges, reds and purples. The coast off of Port Douglas affords a picture perfect view of the days conclusion and the luxury of the locally owned and operated Sailaway IV, under sail, is the only way to truly experience this.

With a complimentary Champagne, Wine, Beer and canapes, the 1.5 hour cruise along the coastline will leave you breathless and make for an excellent way to start your evening, having you back at the marina in plenty of time for your dinner reservation at one of the fine local restaurants. Please note: Sunset sailings run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (weather permitting) and as numbers are limited, it is essential that bookings are made early. The cost is AUD$50.00 per person and whilst children are not excluded, the romantic nature of the cruise is more suited to adults.
